Our team of experienced and compassionate healthcare professionals is here to ensure that you receive the best possible care. Our providers include:

  • As our Chief Medical Officer, Carla Dowdy, PA-C, brings a wealth of experience in emergency medicine and organizational leadership. Graduating with a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies, Carla spent 14 years in urban emergency medicine before joining our serene setting in Ekalaka. Her patient-centered approach emphasizes open communication and shared decision-making. Carla's dedication to advancing her knowledge and enhancing patient care is evident in her pursuit of a Doctor of Health Science degree.

  • Native to Ekalaka, Alex Lovec, APRN/FNP-C, is deeply committed to serving her community. With 17 years of experience in the medical field, including roles as an RN and now as a Family Nurse Practitioner, Alex brings a holistic perspective to patient care. Her special interests lie in geriatrics, mental health, women's health, and preventative care. Alex actively participates in community outreach programs and educational initiatives to promote health and wellness.

  • Karl Hager, FNP graduated from the University of South Alabama Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner program and has 12 years of experience as an advanced practice provider. He has worked in acute care clinics and large metropolitan centers. However, his primary focus has been in rural/critical access hospitals throughout the state of Mississippi and Kentucky. He is certified in family practice, acute care, and emergency medicine. Karl’s passion is providing exceptional, compassionate care to each of his patients. His primary interests are in emergency medicine and critical care.

  • Dr. Christine Seals, MD, is a board-certified family physician with over 20 years of experience in private practice. She has held leadership roles in healthcare organizations, including Umpqua Health Alliance and Greater Oregon Behavioral Health. Dr. Seals is passionate about rural healthcare and providing patient-centered care, especially in underserved communities. Her commitment to improving healthcare access and quality is reflected in her work across various clinical and administrative settings.

Visitors & Patient Information.

Visitation Hours:

Monday - Friday 8am - 8pm. Visitors arriving after 5pm please use the ED entrance. Non-business hours visitation must be arranged with nurses on call 406-775-8730.

  • The signs in the ED entry bay direct patients to a call light.  It rings at the nurse's station and the nurse can talk to the patient through the call system, and then open the doors from there.    This is the most effective way to reach someone, as the call light rings until it is answered.  Patients can also call the nurse's station to let someone know they are there, however, there are times if no one is at the nurse's station the call might not get answered.   They can call the main number, 406-775-8730. 

    During off hours all incoming calls are directly routed to the nurse's station.

  • Dahl’s long-term care facility provides a range of services tailored to support individuals who require extended assistance due to chronic illness, disability, or aging. We offer around-the-clock medical supervision and personal care, including help with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and medication management. They also provide nutritious meals, social activities, and recreational programs to enhance residents quality of life.

  • The MyCareCorner (MCC) patient portal provides patients with access to their electronic health record. You, as the patient, can register for the MyCareCorner patient portal several different ways. 

    • Email Invitation: Contact your healthcare provider (hospital or clinic) to request an email registration invitation for MyCareCorner. 

    • Printed Invitation: Contact your healthcare provider (hospital or clinic) to request a printed registration invitation for MyCareCorner. Gaining access to your health record is a 2-step process, regardless of the method that you choose. 

    • Step 1: Create a MyCareCorner account. 

    • Step 2: Link your health record (or the record of a family member) to the appropriate MyCareCorner account.
